Wasdell Packaging Ltd was founded in 1971 by Mr R. Wasdell making it one of the longest standing contract packaging companies in Europe. Mr. Wasdell’s vision for the company was to make it the world’s leading packaging partner to the pharmaceutical, healthcare, veterinary and cosmetic industries by offering unrivalled levels of quality, service and flexibility at a competitive price. Mr Wasdell watched his company grow and extended its capabilities in relation to the requirements of his customers. The company remained a family business until 2009 when Martin Tedham became majority shareholder and Managing Director.
Today, Wasdell Packaging still maintains the principles on which the company was founded. By doing so, Wasdell Packaging has become one of the largest and most experienced packaging providers within Europe. Wasdell Packaging can now boast over 20 purpose built clean-room production suites, 250 dedicated staff and numerous industry licenses/approvals. This means that Wasdell Packaging can undertake the packing of all forms of pharmaceutical, healthcare, veterinary and cosmetic products in a way that cannot be matched by the competition.
As a company we are always willing to try something new and we have worked with many of our customers in the design and development of new packaging solutions. Many of these can be found today in the market place and on the shelves of the major retailers. Our vision is to assist our customers to create a packaging solution that meets their packaging criteria whilst ensuring market appeal and cost effectiveness.
