We at Wasdell’s are committed to Quality and adhere to the highest standards of cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). As an audited and approved Supplier to many of the major Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Veterinary and Cosmetic companies, we pride ourselves on the hard earned reputation we have developed of quality being paramount and getting the job right first time.

As a company we are committed to a process of continual improvement and comply with all current cGMP standards as set out in “Rules and Guidance for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Distributors 2002” (The Orange Guide).

To achieve our goals we maintain an effective and reliable Quality System which is planned, reviewed and maintained by our dedicated quality team. Controls and checks are carried out at all stages of the Production process by our highly experienced Quality Assurance Team who undertakes all aspects of the Quality Assurance Procedures.

All product, components and packed stock undergo strict quality checks from as soon as they arrive with us, until they are despatched. This ensures that all orders are completed to the Customer’s satisfaction and in accordance with the Product Licence.

The MHRA has granted us several licences including:

  • Manufacturing (Assembly only). This covers Blister Packing, Tablet/Capsule/Liquid filling, sachets and also Secondary Packing/Hand Assembly.
  • Investigational Medicinal Products Manufacturing Licence. This covers the packing of solid dose formats for Clinical Trials.
  • Specials Manufacturing Licence.

To help provide a comprehensive Quality Service, Wasdell also employ 2 QP’s (Qualified Persons) for Release and Regulatory Support in order to facilitate the swift release of products into the market place. We can also pack to FDA Standards and will be seeking this accreditation in our new Swindon facility.
